The food is good; the restaurant has some vegetarian/vegan options, but it's actually lacto-ovo. The main courses and desserts the day I went were mostly lacto-ovo.nSo if you're a true vegetarian or vegan, it's not really worth it, especially on weekends when the price is quite steep, 70 reais for all you can eat. And I went in without knowing this, grabbed my plate, went to weigh it, and where was the scale? Then I discovered the price, which is hidden in the corner near the cashier...nThe day I went, the only dessert without any animal products was a banana cake, and the best dishes had cheese, so it's more worth it for those who want to torture animals but not kill them properly (because there's no meat but there are milk and eggs) haha
I just got back from Germany and found this rare gem on IFood (Apfel = apple in German)! I thought I'd have trouble sticking to my vegetarian diet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the explosion of flavors! Everything was perfect I'll be ordering more while I'm in São Paulo!
I love Apfel, I've been a customer for over 20 years. Very good food, great variety.
Everything is wonderful, I love this vegetarian food.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, well-prepared by people who understand veganism. The tapioca pudding is the best I've had in São Paulo. The staff is polite and helpful.nThe patrons are polite and quiet, so if you go, DON'T USE YOUR CELL PHONE TO MAKE VIDEO CALLS OR WATCH VIDEOS WITHOUT HEADPHONES. This also applies to the owner.
Everything is fresh and perfect.nThose who do it love their job!
The Apfel restaurant will no longer be open at the location at the end of October 2024. I'd like to thank the super friendly cooks and staff. The food is better than that of Nutrisom, also owned by the same owner, on the 9 de Julho viaduct.
Vegetarian for over 40 years in downtown São Paulo. Buffet + drinks + desserts... all included. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff... well worth it.
After the most turbulent period of the pandemic, Apfel returned with its traditional all-you-can-eat buffet. A delight for those looking to lose weight and who love good vegan/vegetarian food. Excellent options of cold dishes, quesadillas, and desserts. The soup is as cozy as the restaurant itself. Service is impeccable, with owner Carlinhos always bringing his contagious joy.
I really liked the service and the place, which is super cozy. I just think that, because I'm a vegetarian, there could be more protein options with eggs. I'm not vegan/vegetarian, so I don't go to these restaurants very often because I miss protein. For 45 reais, it includes dessert and juices. Highly recommended.
My mom and I LOVED it. The place is cozy, airy, with a view of the shops and a wide variety. The food I tried was delicious. There was a variety of drinks, food, and desserts. It's definitely worth it.
Great service.nSuper cozy place
One of the best vegetarian restaurants in downtown São Paulo, located in a historic building.
A delicious vegetarian buffet. It's a small starter, the dining room is on the second floor, and there are plenty of vegetarian options, with juices and desserts included. I ate way more than I should have. I thought it was well worth the price, and the staff were very friendly. I recommend it!
I had stopped going to the place, but I came back and found it to be better. The food was delicious.
This vegan restaurant is a true gem for those seeking healthy and delicious options. The food is always prepared with great care and creativity, surprising the palate with every visit. Plus, Flávia's service is absolutely incredible! She's attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with suggestions and information about the menu. Flávia truly makes the restaurant experience even more special.
Great option for lunch, with a variety of dishes and a great atmosphere...
Good!nComfortable space, varied, well-prepared food. I recommend it to anyone looking for a vegetarian option.nFair price.
Vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. There's less excess dough, cheese, and sugar, so it also has a healthier concept. Welcoming atmosphere and service.
Very good food, fair price and a very cozy atmosphere!
I went for the first time with my husband.nIt was a pleasant experience, with well-prepared food for those who enjoy vegetarian/vegan dishes.nAt the time of our visit, the price was 45 R$ per person, and it was all you could eat, with fruit juice and dessert included.nFor dessert, there was a choice of fresh fruit as well as sweets.nSo, if you're looking for a good, healthy meal, Apfel is a great option, located in downtown São Paulo.nThe entrance is a small door that leads to the restaurant floor.nExcellent! It was well worth it.
Best vegan place in Sao Paulo. So fresh, delicious and so many different things to choose from. We loved it.
Tasty, simple, I like it a lot!!!
Although there isn't a huge variety of dishes like other places, there is a sufficient variety and one thing that sets it apart: all the dishes are very well made, delicious, and fresh.
Cozy place, very good food and many vegan options.
Finding this restaurant in the middle of República was like finding water in the desert for me. A cozy atmosphere, really good food, with a variety of dishes, desserts, juices. And the best part is that you can eat as much as you want. Everything is of high quality ❤️
