Going to this restaurant was quite an experience, starting with the fact that you have to take a boat to get there, which I thought was very cool and unique. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're short on time, because visiting Neptunes requires spending several hours.nnBetween the time they take your order, the waiter comes back, and finally the food is delivered... it all takes a very long time. The food was good; it wasn't spectacular, but it was enough, and the prices are a bit high, probably due to the constant flow of foreign tourists visiting the place.nnThe beach is very pretty, but personally, I found it average; it wasn't what impressed me the most. In short: it's worth it if you want to enjoy the full experience at a leisurely pace, but not if you're in a hurry.nnI recommend going more for the beach than for the restaurant.
A very nice place, delicious food
Nice place to take a photo, but terrible service, two hours for the order to arrive and an hour and a half to pay, they have terrible coordination between the kitchen, the waiters and the cashier, like most restaurants on the island, it does not have the capacity to serve a high flow of customers.

Without a doubt, a place you can't afford to miss in Utila. In my personal opinion, it's the most beautiful beach on the island. Although there are several, and I've been to a few others, this was definitely the one I liked the most. The restaurant has air conditioning, which is great on those hot days since not many restaurants have this feature. The food was very good, the prices, I'd say, were quite reasonable or at least affordable. The menu was extensive, and the short boat ride required to get here was excellent.
The beach is the perfect 'tropical' haven!nYou take a boat through the mangroves to the dock at the restaurant/beach. The Captains are very helpful if you need assistance getting in & out of the boat!!nnTuesdays are 2 for 1 margheritas, which should be a big draw but it was unusually quiet. In saying this, the service was painfully slow!nThere seemed to be more staff than patrons. I enjoy 'laid back' but it was unreasonably slow!nThe fish taco was yummy as we're the drinks.nnThe beach, water, palm trees, etc is outstanding! There are picnic tables, lounge chairs & hammocks for your use.nYou pay the boat $100 limpiras at the restaurant, hang onto the ticket to give to the Captain on your way back.nA lovely spot to experience once.

Great snorkel spot, they have excellent food and very good service! If we see Utila you must visit neptunes.
The place is great for snorkeling but you will need patience to get your food on time and getting a waiter.
Took the $2 ferry from town. Everything about the venture was laid back, picture perfect, and good food. the beach was pristine, nice for swimming and snorkeling off the dock. Saw lots of beautiful sea life. Enjoyed our time lounging in the beach chairs with a bucket a Barena beer and some amazing ceviche. so many kinds to choose from. a Perfect day!
It's a shame to come here and waste your morning at the restaurant.nIt took 1h 15m to bring the food until finally the lady who would be the owner noticed and got up to ask.nI hope they improve in that aspect because it is paradise that is why I give 2 stars incredible place.nA sandwich and enjoy.
We took the boat out to Neptune’s for a day of snorkeling and relaxing. It was perfect! We rode our scooter to the boat pickup spot which is directly off the main road, right before Chepas Beach you’ll see a Neptune sign. You drive down the little dirt path and then you’ll see the dock. As of today’s writing the boat fee is 80 lempiras per person round trip which is super affordable and worth the ride through the majestic mangroves. Don’t worry about paying the boat directly. You’ll be billed for it at Neptunes when you close out your tab. The snorkeling was really good! Two dive bouy markers show you where to go and there’s a nice long dock to launch off of and a ladder for climbing out. Tons of amazing fish! We saw groupers, trumpet fish plus many many others. We did two long snorkels and enjoyed every second. If you don’t have your own gear they have some for you to borrow. The food and service were great. Super sweet, friendly staff and a huge menu with something for everyone. I got a house made vegan burger on a homemade rosemary focaccia bun. The burger was made of carrots and potato and other good stuff. Super yummy! My husband got the traditional burger and he said it was great. We both also got fries that were pipping hot and crispy. The whole day with food, boat, and four non alcoholic beverages cost us just under $40. Highly recommend!

Neptunes is a magical and beautiful place, the atmosphere it has makes you get out of the routine and transport you to a dream environment, the food was delicious and the service excellent, it is a must-see place on your visit to Utila.
