Excellent place for vegetarian food. They offer typical Peruvian dishes in a healthy version. Delicious, flavorful, with fresh ingredients, large portions, and a wide variety of flavors. Convenient location, one block from the Plaza de Armas.

A fantastic place, located just a short walk from the plaza principal. Everything is vegetarian and absolutely delicious. There are plenty of traditional Peruvian dishes on the menu. The service was also very friendly and the price was fair. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Best vegetarian lunch ever! For just 12 soles you get vegetarian salads buffet, a soup, main course with protein and tea(maybe even more). We ate there several times, each was great. They have also good options for dinner but costs more

Amaaaaaazing place!!!! They have sooo many nice vegan and vegetarian options and all are delicious and quite cheap!! The tequenos with guacamole are perfect and the fresa con leche is delicously soft and creamy. The woman that owns the place is super friendly, the music is nice and overal the place is just super chill. Also they have a lunch buffet for 12 soles with a salad buffet, a soup, a main course and a herbal tea for just 12 soles!!! We're going to try it out tomorrow for sure :) go go go here!!! ☀️☀️☀️
Everything is good and fresh, full of flavors, pleasant service and music, for a ridiculously low price (12 soles soup + salad bar + choice of main course). We will be back!
The person who serves is very friendly, the meal includes a salad while you wait for it to come out, a varied salad (delicious) and also with different sauces. I think it's an excellent idea, the tequeños are very delicious, if you're a vegetarian, don't hesitate, highly recommended.
Delicious vegetarian food at a great price
We had lomo saltado and ravioli here, both were delicious and it came with a little salad bar with delicious potatoes. It was also a great price!

The food is good, but we went with a specific health situation (salmonellosis) thinking that it would be mostly healthy being vegan and despite all our explanation, they brought us seitan on top of raw vegetables and French fries. I understand that it is a particular situation but there could be a little more empathy or understanding towards what the client demands.
I have been to vegetarian restaurants in Lima, Ica and several in Cuzco and this is without a doubt the best I have been able to find, a great variety adapted very well to Peruvian gastronomy. Totally recommended

The best restaurant in Cusco, and quite possibly the best vegetarian restaurant on the entire continent. As vegetarians, we've eaten at almost every veggie restaurant in Cusco, and none come close. El Encuentro has the friendliest, most genuine service, and they make you feel right at home. The arroz chaufa and bistec a lo pobre are phenomenal, and the chicharron (pork rinds) are some of the best we ate in Peru. The aji picante (a complementary sauce) is world-class. Highly recommended—you'll leave with a huge smile after your meal.
