Really sweet little restaurant. We had breakfast here and it was SO substantial and so cheap. One of the best omelettes with loads of fillings I have had in Latin America. Yummy fruit as well. Would highly recommend!

Have been in Nicaragua for over a week now and this is some of the best food I’ve had. Great portions for the price and the food came out quickly. Definitely recommend if you’re in Balgue or even on Ometepe at all

Very sad I was excited to eat here because of the google reviews, but we waited 45 minutes for the food and the chicken pasta was bland, tasteless.nIt's not meant to be harmful, I just think they could improve it.

We have been in Balgue for 5 days. We ate there 4 times. Perfect price for backpackers and food was excellent. Great staff, we even even get take out one day cause we went by the lake to eat. Highly recommended
Cute family run restaurant. Super affordable and very tasty. We came for breakfast and had the pinto gallo and huevos rancheros. Highly recommend both. Service was very laid back but the food was well worth the wait. Will be back!
This was a great and affordable option for food (vegetarian options included). The meals are authentic and freshly made. I had a lemonade with huevos rancheros. It was a lovely sitting area too.

Simple no frills traditional local food sooo tasty! The menu is short and simple, the ingredients fresh and beautifully cooked. Our meat was tender and flavoursome, the vegetables quite creative and the tostones - I am not usually too fond - were crunchy outside and soft inside… deliciousnSuper friendly people.

A great restaurant! If you want to eat cheaply, traditionally and deliciously, this is the right place for you. There is also something here for vegetarians and there are various pasta dishes if you don't want to eat traditional. The portions are large. There is also breakfast and the juices are amazing! Super fresh and delicious. The best passion fruit juice I've ever drunk. Even when it rains you can sit here and relax because everything is covered. Of course everything is kept very simple but it is also worth the experience. Only recommended!
