I'm not going to criticize the food because I didn't have a chance to order. I arrived, there weren't many people, the bartender was very focused on his phone, and the waiter who showed me to the tables was more interested in talking to another person at another table. I was there for approximately 15 to 20 minutes waiting to be served, but I had to get up and leave. While I was leaving, the waiter noticed that I was leaving and it was too late. I told him I'd be right back. They brought him up and told him to sit in the same chair he left me sitting in until I came back. That's so he doesn't get tired.
Was skeptical at first … I am from miami and all Venezuelan restaurants I go to are nothing but a disappointment … My daughter insisted and she was right! The carne mechada empanada was DAVOON! The Latin Breakfast DELISH … Franco our server a Sweet heart … and wait, the Parchita Juice excelent … I will drive 6 hours from Miami everyday just to come and eat in Tinker. Good job muchachos
Edit: Tinker was nicer before, our recent experience was very disappointing. The menu has been overhauled, a long with the fact that most all of the menu is no longer gluten free, which was a previous selling point when they opened. The arepas are no longer GF which is very sad. They are also now half the size of what they were. My girlfriend who has a severe gluten reaction loved coming here, but now +90% of the menu she can't consume. The cocktail menu doesn't state what brands of spirits are used, and the staff doesn't know either. We tried to order a Moscow mule and Mojito for dinner, they were out of both. Even though the place was almost empty, getting a drink and food took an excessive amount of time. The last time we were there with a larger group everything came out very quickly, and it was a full night. It's very sad that this will no longer be an option to return to.nnIt was very lovely food and a cute place to be. The service was great and the meats that you can choose were super tasty. The pork that had an upcharge was extremely great and well worth the price. The add-ons for doing a build your own are very over charged for how much you receive. There was an arepas bowl, I believe, that another member of our party got, and that looked like the much better deal than the build your own. All the food was still great, the mojito was very tasty. I wish there were more spicy options.

The hidden places are the best, who knew that there was gonna be a mtin restaurant in this place? Like what? But this restaurant is 10/10 big surprise super nicely!! Super recomended come now!!

I visited this restaurant based on its impressive reviews, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.nThe service was notably slow, after placing our order, we waited a full 30 minutes before any food arrived. When the dishes finally came, both entrees suffered from the same major issue, that is the excessive saltiness! I ordered the grilled chicken with black beans and fries. While the chicken had a decent texture, it was unremarkable and overwhelmingly salty. The black beans were equally over-salted. My dining companion had the Cuban plate, where the pulled pork was so salty that we finished all the rice trying to balance it out but still couldn't manage to eat all the meat.nnFor dessert, we tried the Nutella tequeño, yet it was not salty, it was sickeningly sweet, completely inedible due to the overwhelming sugar content.nWhat's worse, when we sat down, there were uncleared rice grains still on our table from the previous diners.nAt checkout, the minimum tip option was 18%, which felt unreasonable given this food quality and slow service.nnOverall, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our visit.

Loved coming here in the past. I think they have over expanded their menu. Too many options and possibly are understaffed to handle such a large menu. Last time I went there, I was seated by a hostess (something new they have implemented). Waited for about 10 minutes before I decided to get up and leave because no one ever came to take my order. No one made eye contact with me to try to tell them that I was ready.
