The Tea Garden in Utila is an absolute gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The establishment is owned by a delightful British couple whose warmth and hospitality truly enhance the overall experience. Their attention to detail and dedication to providing excellent service is evident from the moment you step through the door.nnOne of the highlights of my visit was the trivia night. It was an absolute blast, with a lively atmosphere and well-organized rounds that kept everyone engaged and entertained. It's a perfect way to spend an evening, whether you're a trivia enthusiast or just looking for a fun night out with friends.nnThe food at The Tea Garden is simply exceptional. I had the pleasure of trying their curry, which was superbly spiced and absolutely delicious. Each bite was a culinary delight, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. However, the standout dish for me was the mango crumble. It was, without a doubt, one of the best desserts I have ever tasted. The perfect balance of sweet, tangy mango with a crisp, buttery crumble topping was simply divine.nnOverall, The Tea Garden is a must-visit for anyone in Utila. The lovely British owners, fantastic food, and engaging trivia night create an unforgettable experience that should not be missed.
Very good Peruvian food! Just that the day I visited the portions were very small as they were offering tapas during the carnaval.
The best place in town, make sure you try the earl grey infused gin/vodka !!
Excellent place to go for something sweet after diving. A very nice garden and excellent service
The people running this place are awesome, really welcoming and nice to talk to, we even had a chance to meet the owners father, he had some great stories to share.nnDefinitely consider a visit either for tea dinner or cake its all great.
This place is an absolute delight of the senses. The people are top notch. Just go here then keep going here. You are not going to find real mixed drinks anywhere else on the island, let alone infused spirits, let alone TEA infusions. I could drink oolong mintys all day out of a camelbak. I make them at home too now. Must visit.
My partner and I stumbled upon the CUTEST outdoor cafe on our walk back from the beach and couldn't resist such a cute aesthetic - We only ate the desserts and WOW were they spectacular. An awesome menu as well clearly cooked with care and passion
Cool place. It was packed on trivia night.
I wish I had time in my schedule to go here more often during my stay in Utila. Great desserts, teas, and tea based cocktails in a very cozy setting.
The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious!!!
They sell tea and snacks, all good enough, but its pretty back there and have trivia which was fun.
A must visit in Utila if you love tea & want somewhere peaceful to relax. They have a beautiful garden with hummingbirds & comfortable seating. The cheesecake was a delicious pairing with their wide selection of tea.
They are not open when they say they are open. I went for tea an hour after they said they would be open, but they weren't really. The tea was good, the shortbread cookies were nice. The entire time I was there the three staff wandered around shouting at each other. I guess they were trying to get the place open. They had a speaker blaring music that kept breaking up, and they just let it play. No follow up after service. It was as if I wasn't there. I had to go and ask to pay.
Amazing place on Utila. Very friendly owners. Good food and very good Iced teas!nHighly recommend.
Great little place tucked away under trees with a water feature adding to the gentle ambience of relaxation. Lights through the trees added a romantic feel. Tasty curry and apple crumble, friendly attentive service. Definitely recommend.
Very lovely place! I highly recommend a visit at the tea garden. Special tea and drinks (with or without alcohol) you won’t get any where else on the island. Sweet nibbles are a must there, very yummy!
I loved the tea garden so much I visited 3 times in my week long visit to Utila. The atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting. The chocolate mud cake was so delicious as was the mango banana smoothie. The staff were fun and friendly, even remembering our names. The trivia night also should not be missed as it was one of the most fun and original I've gone to.
Had such a great time. Went with my wife and friends, they wanted coffee and I beer. There is a little of everything for everyone. Highly recommended
Light fare, good tea, great desserts. I'm sure the cocktails are good too. The atmosphere is nice. It's a more hippy tourist spot, but still good. Vegan and celiac-friendly options available. I'm not celiac, but I tried the new mango pineapple gluten free crumble--I couldn't taste a difference.
The Teagarden is definitely a place to be.nA vibe so chill you‘d like to just stay there forever.nThe food is excellent and I would highly recommend to get some tea there! Super good!nMake sure you‘re checking out on the tea infused alcoholic drinks aswell! The pisco one was insanely good.nThe owners are spreading so much positive energy, i loved it.nA must do when you‘re in Utila!
A really serene space, feels kind of ethereal. Was there for trivia night, which coincided with curry night, which coincided with the first night they trialled the (very delicious) mango crumble pie. Which made us all feel very special
Don’t miss this place! The Tea Garden has an unmatched atmosphere, kind, friendly staff and the best tea and cocktails I may have ever had.nnMy husband and I came here almost every day during our visit to Utila because we loved it so much. Don’t miss the watermelon mint tea, the watermelon banana smoothie, the vegetarian curry or any of the tea-infused cocktails. I’m confident anything on the menu is amazing. Thursday night trivia is not to be missed.nnTara, Deggs (sorry, I’m sure I spelled your name wrong …) and everyone here will make you feel right at home. Thank you for everything!
lovely place with wonderful customer service!
An absolutely gorgeous peaceful oasis to enjoy a coffee or an iced tea. The owner Tara and her staff are warm, welcoming and make sure you are happy and feel right at home.
This is such an awesome addition to the island especially if you are gluten free. She offers delicious gf apple crumble, gf cheesecake gf Choco mud cake. All sorts of delicious teas, definitely worth the visit.
I came her for curry and trivia. The curry was super fairly priced - and delicious - and the trivia was a great time. The lighting and landscape make it a really chill atmosphere. Great service from everyone there.
Fun quiz night on Monday!! With delicious curry :-)
The paninis are delicious and so is the house special lemonade... and they also have jalapeño jelly, highly recommended.
Lovely cafe, definitely worth a visit! They have a lot of drinks, we really liked the yasmin icetea. Also the toastie with mango jalapeno dip is delicious! You should also try one of the desserts, we loved the apple crumble with icecream! Also on Monday evening there's a quiz and curry night which is nice, the whole garden was full so it was fun!
Lovely owners and delicious food! All of the drinks have tea infused alcohol and they are delightful!
Tea Garden is a great addition to the island. Excellent place to enjoy tea with a friend, play a board game or have dinner. Dumpling Night and Curry Night are a must. Trivia on Mondays at 7. Check it out!
Excellent service and delicious food for tea and dessert lovers.
Great place. I was there for tea and some dessert. Please have a taste of it and you'll be back. Amazing and tasty!
The banana smoothie, is epic
Great spot for some English tea and scrumptious cakes. The homemade banana bread and mango jam were so tasty. Would highly recommend this place!
