Excellent food, lovely 5 minutes ago I received my order thank you very much God bless you
One of the best patacon sandwiches I’ve had yet.
The food was good, the service was pleasant, they do not accept cards, only cash, they have an ATM, I will return again
I went and the food was amazing truly felt homemade. The owner who has been there for 10 years is kind and wholesome. He made the food himself and even got us a lime to add to the chicharrón in our mofongo. The yaroa is one of their specialty. For sure going back
Went today with my girl service was perfect and the food even better
This was my favorite spot until today. I order chicharrón de pollo with plátano maduro and rice. Yesterday I ordered this meal the side rice was $6. Today I ordered the same order and asked for more chicken. I got the same amount from yesterday which I paid more today for extra chicken and now the side rice is $7. It was a good spot until money became the concern. Sometimes money isn’t everything. I will not be back. Food was good though price gauge wasn’t.
My Favorite - Fried Greasy Yummy Food to go. Great service and food.
fries were the only good thing about my order. vegan bowl didn’t come w pico de gallo but rather a very small salad so that was false advertisement. my vegan chicken chimichurri came w almost no cabbage and more tomato than vegan chicken it was basically a salad tomato bread sandwich. food was jus below mediocre very disappointed
Great food, a bit expensive than what it used to cost, great service and friendly people, the food could be served quicker, but regardless great quality
Excellent place, the pastries in sheet at the end
Food tasted bad, bad service, gave me food poisoning
Great place to grab a bite to eat in New York City
The staff were very courteous
Food is good, staff is friendly.
The food is great (especially patacon y yaroa). However, don't go if you are in a hurry. The redo of the restaurant space is nice (brighter). The staff can be great or extremely attitudinal (likely reason I will be going elsewhere). Prices are more expensive than Upper Manhattan (also, signs have conflicting prices, so be careful if price is a concern)
not good services nothing
Bad customer service, the stinking Dominican speaking badly to the customer
There vegan options are FIRE
I ate here until I saw that the service when talking to the person is not pleasant at all last time I go
the food here is amazing, never disappointed. the mofongo are so tasty and big, the yaoras are the best and the area. I usually go there for the lunch specials which includes free soda or water.
The food taste horrible the service was horrible and the place around it was so dirty
Horrible yaroa horrible the chicken is horrible
Poor quality food, i ordered rice and bean with pechurina and the rice tasted so nasty. It tasted burn and hard
I loved the food, the service and attention were very good, quality and price were excellent, I recommend it
The food was horrible,I bought a quipe and I couldn’t even eat it because it was too greasy, the yaroa as well,I found bones couple of times while I was eating, the tamarindo juice was so nasty,it tasted so old,I do not recommend this place
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Extremely disappointed with my order and the way my issue was resolved I ordered a $25 “platter” of 3 meats and one side order if it’s a $25 platter you would assume it’s the traditional long aluminum pan Nooooo I paid for literally a round small lunch plate that contained 3 pieces of chicken 4 pieces of meat and a whole bunch of old plantains. I was extremely irritated not only because they barely had any options since “everything gets bad so they try not to over but good” but as to how they said it’s based on the quality of meat I have and a $5 lemonade that was not fresh .For the circle aluminum plate that alllll the restaurants sell $10 lunch with and they charge me $25 I was in shock plus tip and del$35!!!!!!. My husband and I requested someone pick up the food since we were not pleased nor was it touched . The “main person in charge “ said they do not do refunds nor they can give us any type of credit which is extremely unprofessional and rude since they did not even try to please us . Very sad experience since it was our first time trying out to elsewhere but this is why you should never cheat on your day one restaurants!!!!!! Ordered a $20 platter from mango’s up the block and wow I got a large aluminum platter plates ,napkins , mojito and forks were included aswell as my 3 meats and one side order
When you order by one of the applications Uber, DoorDash or Grubhub, orders are never ready and in the applications if it says they are ready. And when you go to pick them up, they tell you to give me 5 minutes and 15 passes.
If I could put below a star I would. I just moved to the Bronx been looking for good food for great price. I. And across oscars kitchen on google so my husband and me took a drive there I ordered a chicken burrito and he ordered a lunch special fried chicken with rice and beans. We took the meal home and half way into his meal he bit into something that felt very hard not like a bone. We examined it and in all honestly looks like a tooth . We called the restaurant and they said theirs nothing they can really tell us. We can’t even finish our meal with the disgust we feel right now. It’s not something we found in the rice it was found inside the chicken. Will never order from here again I’d rather pay some extra money for a good meal than something like this experience again.
