Everything was delicious. We tried tequeños and arepas, and we loved everything. A lovely place, highly recommended! And they have natural juices.
We really liked the place, and the service is 10 out of 10. I have eaten a cachapa with cream and an Andean pastry, both highly recommended.
everything excellent! I had a veggie arepa, it was delicious. Great service, they are very friendly and attentive.
Venezuelan homemade food. Good and well priced. The dough for the tequeños and arepas is super good, plus the owner is very nice and gives you good advice. To repeat without a doubt and try the entire menu. The juices are very delicious.
The cakes and juices are very delicious, I recommend it 100% apart from the good treatment and kindness of the staff.
The empanas are very delicious and they are not that expensive. I don't know the rest. The waiter was very friendly and the music was good.
Great tasting plate and the Mi Negro operated empanada with black roast, super authentic and tasty, I will definitely return. Thank you!
I don't have images to show how delicious everything was and the good treatment received. For starters we ordered some tequeños, I'm not a big fan of this dish in general, but I definitely recommend them and I'm looking forward to eating them there again. The food is all homemade and with an exquisite flavor and taste, 100% Venezuelan food and veggie options.nApart from welcoming us with lovely treatment, I couldn't be more delighted.nPS: totally affordable prices
Oh lord, I'm so glad this was the last place I ate because I would go here every meal. I would go broke just buying pollo empanadas six times a day. I got mine with the green sauce, and both were beyond incredible. I would sell my siblings for another empanada and green sauce. Be careful out there. It's too good.
The very cozy place.nMore than close attention.nThe best cachapa in Spain.nVzolano quality and flavor food without a doubt.nIn Alicante it is the best and if you are passing through Alicante it has to be a mandatory stopping point on your route.nnBy the way, reading one of the reviews I found out that garlic sauce and guasacaca are national heritage, currently Venezuela has 9 heritages and not surprisingly these 2 sauces appear.nAre they going to include them?nThat's how things are!!!!
An extraordinary service, the owner treated us with closeness, professionalism and friendliness, which made us feel very welcome and welcome. The atmosphere of the place accompanied this great treatment. As for the food, everything was very delicious, the tres leches cake, the tequeños, the arepas and spectacular empanadas. As for the price, I think it faithfully adjusts to the quality of the products and the service provided.nMany thanks to Merendero 295 and Jose, who I repeat, had excellent treatment.
Close and familiar treatment. Delicious food!! From the tequeños, through arepas and cachapa. A luxury to be able to enjoy these Venezuelan delicacies in Alicante.
Delicious food and attention of 10
Everything was excellent! We ordered a sifrina arepa and a pernil arepa and a portion of tequeños, all brutal and with a lot of filling. The owner of the place was very cool and very friendly. One of the best Venezuelan food I have ever tried. Highly recommended. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't have highchairs for children yet. We will definitely return.
Excellent attention and cachapas.
Pabellón empanada was delicious with passion fruit juice. José was super friendly and took great care of us.
I arrived without any expectations and I left delighted, the boy who served us called Jose 10/10, the passion fruit juice was super good and the empanadas too
Good Venezuelan food place. They served us even though we were a bit late for closing time, and they got the meat and arepas right. We'll be back.
They kicked us out of the place for no reason and the owner, or I don't know who he was, treated us horribly and didn't even let us pay the bill.
It’s a great place! The atmosphere is nice, the service is on point and the food was delicious!! I had an arepa and it’s been a while since I had such a good arepa. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey for this type of food but maybe it’s worth it for this taste.
I've visited many Venezuelan restaurants in Europe, and this is definitely one of the best I've eaten at. The arepa de pernil (pork arepa) is highly recommended!
Best empanadas ever and a great secret sauce
A wonderful meal. My husband and I went there for the first time, eating Venezuelan food, and it was a wonderful experience. Homemade food, made with care, beautifully presented, and delicious. Great value for money. Very friendly and helpful service. We loved it! We'll definitely be back!
Good place to eat Venezuelan food, nice atmosphere, very good service from its owner José, good empanadas, make a reservation in advance.
Everything was excellent!!!!nWe had the tasting and then added another cachapa because it was so delicious. The tres leches dessert is also a must-try.nAll the food is homemade, and the dedication is evident.nThe service is also 10/10, and they make you feel incredibly welcome from the first minute.nThe best Venezuelan food in all of Spain. I hope to return soon to continue enjoying all their dishes!!!
Absolutely delicious and very friendly staff❤️ thank you
If you're in Alicante and looking to enjoy authentic Venezuelan flavors, El Merencedero 295 is a must-visit. This charming establishment combines tradition and quality in every dish, transporting you directly to the gastronomy of Venezuela.nnFrom the first bite, you can taste the care taken in preparing their arepas, empanadas, and tequeños, always with fresh and authentic ingredients.nnThe atmosphere is cozy and warm, with attentive staff that makes you feel right at home. Plus, the value is excellent, perfect for a quick meal or to enjoy with friends or family.nnWithout a doubt, El Merencedero 295 has become a little Venezuelan corner in Alicante, perfect for those seeking memorable culinary experiences. Highly recommended!
A small restaurant where the quality of its dishes and the friendliness and attentiveness of its staff stand out. Highly recommended! We'll be back!
They have recommended it to me.nI've gone for cachapas and empanadas. I have left pleasantly satisfied. Crispy empanadas and the cachapas are good in size and flavor (compared to others I have eaten in Alicante).nI think the place is a little small, in case you bring someone with a wheelchair (but I think it can be solved).nThey don't have parking, it's a bit difficult to park around. There are 2 paid parking spaces nearby. It also has a couple of bus lines nearby.
The crispy and divine empanadas, the delicious piece of ham. A total success if you want to eat Venezuelan food. We will return!!
It was really good, but they're very slow and it's quite expensive. It's very hot inside, but that's normal; it's quite small. The food was delicious, and the waiter was friendly.
We were just passing through looking for something for Venezuelan breakfast and we hit the spot. We ate a queen pepiada, empanada and passion fruit juices. It is the closest and what most matches the food of my country a true delight!! José's attention was excellent. We will return with reinforcements for the cachapas and the beach tostones.
