Make a reservation. This place is so good and so popular that not having a reservation pretty much any evening of the week is a problem. It's awesome!
A spectacular dining experience. Everything we ate was excellent, and as a dumpling fan I can honestly say Masil's were the best I've ever eaten. If you already love Korean food, you certainly won't be disappointed here,, and if it's a cuisine that's unfamiliar to you, the polite, friendly & helpful staff willl happily guide you through the menu and how to eat your chosen dishes. The restaurant itself is quite small but beautifully designed to be simple but also cosy and inviting.
Easily the best Korean restaurant in Central America. It’s a beautiful mix of Korean cooking techniques and the vibrant ingredients of Latin America. You can tell the chef/owner puts real care into every detail - the textures of the banchan, the tenderness of the meat, the balance of flavors in every bite. I was born and raised in Korea and can honestly say this place feels like home. The mandu took me straight back to my grandma’s kitchen. Such a special and memorable experience. I’m really excited to see how Masil evolves and will definitely be coming back often.nnI never imagined there would be a place like this on the other side of the world. As soon as I took a bite of the mandu, I was reminded of my maternal grandmother and was moved for no reason. Each dish is full of sincerity, so I definitely want to come back again. See you soon!

My younger daughter and her friend visited Masil first when they were in Antigua. She raved about the food and service when she returned home.nSo my older daughter and I tried Masil ourselves and we loved every dish we ordered!!!nnEverything was fresh, clean and delicious! nThe owner was so down to earth and had the right mindset about serving customers. We were there two days in a row and definitely want to come back to Antigua just to dine at Masil again!
In one of the most beautiful streets of Antigua Guatemala is this cozy Korean restaurant, run by a member of the founding family, who took the time to explain the dishes and ingredients to us. It turned out to be one of those meals that leaves our stomach full and our hearts happy, we will surely return!

It's a perfect Korean food experience. The owner is extremely friendly. The food looks fancy in its presentation but tastes like the best homemade Korean food. The music and the TVs on in the background and everything is Korean. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. I come every chance I get.

I was traveling in South America and was having a hard time because the food wasn't right! I've been to Korean restaurants in every country, but this place is really... authentic... It tastes just like Korea, the owners are all so friendly, and all the food is delicious! This is my third visit! Absolutely impeccable!!! I’ve never finished a whole bibimbap in my life but it was so delicious and I feel so nourished drinks and apps also incredible. Who knew the best Korean food I’ve ever had would be in Guatemala?!
A different and delicious gastronomic experience, very good service, variety of food for all tastes. I ordered pork dumplings, kimchi with pancetta and some prickly pear rolls and without a doubt one dish was better than the other. Very nice atmosphere and very good service.

I’m no Asian food expert, especially when it comes to Korean food, but I could instantly say that this restaurant is perfect. The restaurant itself is pretty small, probably because it was founded in 2024, but the food is spectacular. It was founded by Koreans so you can instantly tell it’s all authentic. The food feels homemade and the staff is very welcoming, sometimes making small chat with you. The food has a lot of variety, so if you’re vegetarian or have different tastes, you’re bound to find something you like.
Possible the best Korean food I've eaten since visiting the country almost a decade ago. Very friendly and helpful staff, fluent in both Spanish and English, made one feel welcome. The food was just superb in taste and presentation.nLarge sizes, and I almost regret ordering the two I did. Total for the pork dumplings and the kimchi bibimbap and a club soda was 231Q, though this could almost feed two. I will highly recommend this place if you like Korean food.

Absolutely delightful place. The host was very friendly and super patient with all our questions. We were a fairly large group of people and she was very accommodating.nThe vegan food was amazing.. dumplings and bibimbap. Others in our group were equally thrilled with their food. Pleasantly shocked to get such great Korean food in Guatemala!
