Amazing local food, for a great price and owned by the loveliest lady. Definitely recommend.
Sandra is fantastic and the food is fantastic too. Reasonably priced overly delicious pupusas. They’re a lot more filling than they looked. So good we kept stopping in for lunch.
We tried the chicken & cheese and the bean & cheese Pupusa, so delicious!!! $4 a piece and larger than I expected! Great deal
The Papusas are pure perfection! If you want delicious local food this is the place to go. Sandra is so kind and will welcome you like family! 100% recommend!
Simply the best pupusa I've ever eaten in my life.
The best pupusa I ever had!! When you are in Roatan you should definitely pass by that place. The stuff and especially the owner is super kind the service is perfect and the food just super delicious. Can’t wait to come back one day with
Very delicious food and the owner is very friendly and attentive, I highly recommend you try this place!!!!
Best Pupusas I’ve ever had in my life. YOU NEED TO TRY IF YOU COME TO ROATAN. LOVELY STAFF. My boyfriend dreams and talks about this Pupusas all the time.
Waited over an hour for food and drinks, others ordered and were served in the time it took to get our food. They were out of pork and beans?
Delicious handmade pupusas! This little food stand is a MUST try in Roatan. The service was great and the owner Sandra was so sweet and nice to us, made us feel welcomed!nDefinitely recommend!
Awesome restaurant to grab authentic pupusas. Had a great time chatting with the owner she took great care of us while we were there. Pupusas were large I ordered 4 which was probably double what I needed. Definitely recommend you stop by for this unique dish while you are in west end. Curtido and salsa were also excellent! Had the watermelon licquado so refreshing. Prices are super reasonable.
Be careful about going here if you want pupusas with meat in them. There was next to none in the five we ordered. However, the bean & cheese ones I got were amazing. Really there's a few places in West End that will give barely any meat in their dishes so as to increase profit, if you're a tourest. I even had one place fill a chicken pastelito with only rice.
I wasn't feeling well so my friend brought me one of these back to the hotel. It did not disappoint! Of course it cost more than what you would pay in El Salvador, but everything in Roatan is pricey.nMuch fluffier than the pupusas I ate all throughout El Salvador and much better tasting quite frankly! Mushroom and cheese, it was filled with lots of yummy salty mozzarella.nIt was a good size serving and delicious. I didn't get to try the condiments since I didn't eat there at the place unfortunately.
Never ever again! 4$ for pupusas is a Robbery! 75 lps for a national beer?? Come on! My husband and I arrived and the waitress gave a menu just to him? What? So women have no voice in this place? Men have to order for them? And the food was okayish!
Fantastic, delicious food at a great price from Sandra and her crew. Perfect breakfast, lunch or snack!!
Amazing food and very affordable! Sandra was so friendly and welcoming, can’t miss this spot if you are in the west end!
Really amazing pupusas!! Has a great taste and texture, these pupusas are gluten free (made of corn) and they have vegan options! I loved them so much I ordered extra to go. The condiments are extraordinary also!
Great cheesy papusa and friendly staff. Great price as well
Incredible. You haven’t had a Papusa until you’ve had these Papusas. A must stop in town. Try the loroco - it’s a local vegetable that’s very tasty. And, the people who run the restaurant are helpful and kind.
Delicious pupusas! The shrimp with cheese, my favorite
The pupusas here are amazing and the owner is the sweetest person in Roatan. This is also one of the most affordable places in town, so it is a huge win.
Delicious pupusas, many options, even for vegans. Food was delicious. Location was nice.
The pupusa are delicious. One of our favorite places to eat. The ladies are so friendly and it is a relaxed atmosphere.nLooking forward to enjoying these delicious morsels this February.
Very friendly people! Love the atmosphere right on the beach!
I personally don’t like the taste of Honduran cheese , other than that everyone was great !
Delicious food!!! Every pupusa we tried was tasty, and the cabbage and onion toppings just made them even better! Sandra was a phenomenal hostess who had fun helping our daughter practice her Spanish, and taught us some as well. I credit her with how much my Spanish and confidence in pronunciation improved. I try to never go to the same restaurant twice while on a trip so I can try more places. We all wanted to go back a second time it was so good, and it was just as good the second time, but more fun because we already had a rapport with Sandra, who remembered us two days later and greeted us at the curb with excitement.nnIt's a tiny hole in the wall place we originally stopped at because it was there and we were really hungry, and it was the best decision we made.
Amazing place, great service!! Pupusas are huge and delicious a will 100% recommend you stop buy if in the area. You won’t regret it
Excellent Pupusas. We walked past the place several times looking for Pupuseria Salvadorena. The sign on the street actually says La Ruta Del Sabor. It’s right next to the chocolate factory. We will definitely be back.
Hands down the best meal I had on Roatan, nothing compares especially in west bay. The ownerSandra is the sweetest lady, so genuinely friendly and gracious. We are there 3 times in 2 days DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!!
I ate at Pupuseria Salvadoreña yesterday with my girlfriend. It was the friendliest staff we met in Roatan, we felt welcomed from the start. The pupusas are delicious (we ordered shrimp) and the spicy sauce (with the dog image) is great if you want to add some extra spice on top. In fact, the food was so good that I decided to get one more while eating the first one :) It became our favourite place in Roatan for eating. It's a shame we only discovered it towards the end of our trip here. We'll be back :) Cheers. Gracias!
the pupusas were great ,the people were friendly, I would definitely come back here
The food was very good, excellent typical dishes from El Salvador, but the service was very slow, very slow, better organize on this issue. But congratulations, the food is very delicious.
