Solid arepa. The filling is unbelievable. Had a better arepa in terms of the dough/vehicle. Will be back, probably get a bowl.
“As a Venezuelan living in south Florida, I’m used to finding Venezuelan food everywhere, but these arepas truly stand out! So flavorful and perfectly made. Absolutely delicious!”
Ordered pabellon pork bowl and arepa. Food is amazing, and the customer service is wonderful.
Fast food service, but great taste, hot sauces available, super-chill setting inside a brewery.
Awesome food, awesome people. Love it.n...nUpdate April 25 2025: I stand by everything above.
Expensive but delicious arepas with generous portions
Place is within the brewery, once you enter take a sharp left and then another left, you’ll see the food court area. Carolicious would be the first stand on the right. Plenty of seating, don’t know how busy it gets as it was fairly empty when I went and found seating. Food was pretty good, it’s what you would expect when it comes to Venezuelan, had the pork and beef bowls, definitely the pork stands out as it peers perfectly with the plantains, black beans and rice. Was really expecting more as I’ve been searching for a Venezuelan place that would have more variety. Price was I would say it’s a bit expensive, not much, but you do get bigger bowls at many other places for the same price.
I love Carolicious! their arepas are so good! my favorite one is la catira, I also had the pabellón bowl and it is amazing! I fully recommend this place and also the good service of their owners. I will come back anytime I can.
smoked meats and garlic lime chicken tacos were excellent
Tasty, but very small portions for the price
The first time i had Carolicious was a fabulous summer day after climbing at the bouldering project. I was already riding the high of adrenaline from falling 20 times off the V1s and thought nothing could pump me up more. Boy was I wrong. This venezuelan food truly knocked my socks off and turned my world upside down. I got the Pabellon beef bowl and it was life changing. Not only the best venezuelan food in boston but i would argue the best meal in Boston. It is the only meal i crave on a day to day. LOVE this place. Must try.
This is what upgrades the already great experience in aeronaut. Great great fresh food, vegetarian (and small vegan) options, going great as a snack with the amazing beer, and always friendly staff.
Food taske great. Portions a little small for the price but still a cheaper alternative compared to most places in the area. Casual atmosphere plenty of seating.
Brilliant! The best place in the city to eat arepas.
The food was so flavorful and sweet. I had the Chicken Pabellon bowl and the plantains mixed with the fresh green and rice was so refreshing. The chicken was moist and flavorful as well. The ladies who work there are so sweet. I’m definitely going back to try the whole menu
Ridiculously delicious food and amazing customer service. Bravo, Carolicious team, Bravo!!
Delicious food and amazing service
Absolutely wonderful food, service, atmosphere and attention to detail, I’m a bit biased because I’m Venezuelan but their cuisine is just like home, everything is simply amazing, if you see something in the menu that you never had before don’t be afraid to try it, you won’t be disappointed
Great food and service. The pabellon pork arepa and spicy beef arepas are great.
This extraordinary piece of Venezuela attracts a beautifully diverse demographic while tucked away in the heart of Somerville, Massachusetts, within the entertaining Aeronaut Brewery. The lovely and talented owner, Carolina, prepares the most authentic Venezuelan cuisine you will find. Succulent and savory, decadent and delicious are only a few words that describe the menu here. She also offers gluten free, vegan, and meat lover options. The chefs are charming and delightful preparing tasty treats while the crowd laughs over an amusing game of trivia. Apex highly recommends stopping in and trying a renowned rice bowl, enticing arepas, and tempting táquenos! This is time and money well spent!
So it is in the marketplace. It is not huge, but they make great use of the space. I had 2 arepa sandwiches and chickpea salad with cassava chips. The arepas are crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Both sandwiches were warm. They are small but very filling. Plenty of eating, booths, tables, and hi-tops.n*Please note, that she plated things well, but I forgot to take initial pictures and started eating, and then took pics.nnThey have drinks, other assorted chips and desserts, but this is what I got:nTUNA $10.00- RECOMMEND. Nice crunch, and flavorful green sauce.nnCHICKPEA BEANS SALAD & CASABE $9.00- RECOMMEND. The Cassava chips were thicker more like a dry cracker which I put the chickpea salad on, and it was perfect.nnTURKEY & MANCHEGO CHEESE $10.00- RECOMMEND- Though I wish I could have added a tomato and some sort of green. It was still so good. Provided me with hot sauce, which was great because I am fighting off a cold, and trying to knock it out. perfection.nnVerdict: RECOMMEND.
Good food. Decent portions. Pleasant space. Really friendly service.
Great atmosphere and food. Gluten free options are awesome.
I highly recommend the beef pabellon bowl.
