Kamila was a very sweet waitress!! Highly recommend the empanadas also the plantain sandwhich was incredible!
Stopped at Big Yummy while passing through town and was thoroughly impressed by the Venezuelan dishes. The cachapa was delicious and the service was excellent. Will come back!
This place, without a doubt, especially if we talk about Venezuelan cuisine, is the top in the area. Its extensive and well-presented menu is attractive, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is good. I recommend the arepas de aguita de sapo and the patacon, the empanadas, and the juices; they are of great flavor. It is worth returning to and we will do so for sure.
I ordered arepa pepiada, tequeños and pastelitos. Unfortunately I really didn’t like the arepa, the chicken was so fine shredded I thought it was a tuna sandwich, no pieces of avocado anywhere, just a green color, no mayo and they added what looked like parsley… just not good! definitely not a traditional reina pepiada. Tequeños were excellent. Pastelitos don’t look like pastelitos AT ALL, not sure about the taste because I haven’t had the chance to eat them. Unfortunately, I really wanted to like this place but I was underwhelmed.
The best Venezuelan food in Dallas, the service is great, and so is the atmosphere.
Really terrible, a tall waitress with a few tattoos that looks like a bone chirri started insulting the other waitresses in front of the customers because she didn't want to clean the fridge because she said she was going to call her aunt, meaning it has to do with work. It's work because the owner is her aunt, it doesn't mean she has the nerve to yell and humiliate me. It really didn't seem right to me.
I liked the food, but having to be served by grumpy people is in very bad taste.
Very bad experience at the Fortworth, Texas location. Very bad service with the waiter Daniel. He treated us very badly and brought us our drinks after 10 minutes. I don't think I would go back because I think we paid for service, not to be treated badly, and even less the way that waiter (Daniel) did. He never checked to see if we needed anything else. I do not recommend the place.
Very good service Daniel took good care of them and the food was delicious!!
Tasty, Venezuelan flavors. I love Big Yummy.
Well, I think this time it wasn't what I expected, I asked for something and they brought something I didn't want, they assumed I couldn't pay or it didn't leave me a little disappointed because we drove a lot to not eat what I wanted.
I loved it!nnExcellent to come for lunch, quiet atmosphere and the food is delicious!nnThe girl who serves is very friendly
I was not very impressed with this place. I ordered cachapa, the food came to the table partly hot, I wondered if it was reheated and the cachapa tasted something else but corn. The plate, drinking glass and silverware had a repulsive stench. I couldn't eat and asked for a to go box for my food.nI'm not very impressed with this place. I ordered cachapa and they brought it warm, I was wondering if it was reheated. The cachapa almost didn't taste like corn. The plate, the glass and the cutlery had a disgusting egg smell. I couldn't eat and asked for a box to take the food with me.
Loved the food and the space. Great atmosphere to celebrate a big occasion. The DJ played the best music too. Definitely will come back many times.
It's a great place to try. Authentic Venezuelan food.
Well, I ordered a grill and the truth is that it wasn't good or had any flavor. The dish looked good but the flavor was nothing to do with it. . And they served it with fried arepa instead of yuca. I ordered the yucca, it arrived shortly after and was also fried. Nothing to see from the Venezuelan grill. And hahaha, they charged me for it and I told them why the waitress told me. Oh, because I didn't leave the arepa, oh, you ate it. I told her why the cassava arrived late... the rest of it was really amazing, my friends did like their soup, but they were not happy with the waitress nor did we leave her a tip. Lousy.
So, so good. Authentic Venezuelan food. Excellent customer service. Great portions.
Very good attention from all the staff, very good food
Very Venezuelan place. Be prepared to only speak Spanish here. Great people, good food, good prices! Highly recommend.
Excellent quality of service
The food is expensive and bad, the service is terrible and the waitress also demanded a tip, which is quite ugly.
I didn’t like Venezuelan food until I found this place. Their food is so good. Also, the server girls are always smiling and kind, they make you feel welcome. My favorites are tequeños, cachapa with carne asada, and parrilla mixta. ☺️
Very bad food, good service
