Authentic Venezuelan cuisine at its best! I loved the empanadas, flavorful sauces, Plato de Pollo, and Desayuno Criollo. The fresh juices were refreshing, and the customer service went above and beyond. A truly delightful experience!
100% Gluten-free. I love that. Food was delicious. Me and my wife don't eat Gluten or Dairy. Gluten was easy here because everything is Gluten-free. They were very accommodating on Dairy free options. They also have many Vegan items. We will be back again and again and again!
Delicious delicious delicious!!nMake this a stop even if you aren’t coming through the area! Make the detour!!nYou won’t be disappointed!
I came in hungry. I left questioning why I don’t live inside this restaurant.nnThe arepas here are the stuff of dreams—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and stuffed with so much deliciousness that I briefly considered writing them a love letter. I had the Sifina Arepa Reina Pepiada and honestly, if that were a person, I’d propose.
Arepa Mia is not only immensely deserving of its spot on the Atlanta Michelin Guide but more than worthy of its Bib Gourmand award. Exceptional service, 100 score on inspection, and quality Venezuelan food for affordable prices. For those seeking excellent food on a tight budget, Arepa Mia is a wonderful option you won’t regret. I love coming here for date night as the ambiance is bustling without being overly busy with semi-dim lighting and a welcoming fun interior. This will forever be one of my favorite Atlanta spots that I recommend to everyone with a taste for the finest Venezuelan food.
Wow just an explosion of flavors. Even the simplicity of rice and beans is so complex and homey tasting and feeling. A bountiful combination of spice and corn flavors in the arepa. Crispy and sumptuous pork in the empanadas Loved all the different unique flavors of sauces .
Amazing food. I got the Chachapa Pollo and added the guayanese cheese. OMGGGGG. A highlight of my trip. Sometimes daydream about somehow having that in front of me again.
I am so grateful everything is gluten free! Service and vibes are always 10/10.
Friendly service and ok food! I really like the vibe of this place. It looks like it might get busy during peak hours but we were able to order right away
I think this restaurant is completely deserving of its Michelin recommendation. The service is quick, the interior is vibrant, inviting, and crowded with people, and the food is absolutely divine.nnThe Arepa Vegetariana came with a couple of salsas, and when I asked for an additional spicy one, I was amazed that they brought the spiciest I’ve had at a restaurant. The arepa itself is warm, buttery, and pillowy, and the vegetables are cooked and salted/seasoned to perfection. Need to come back!
High quality, made from scratch Venezuelan food. The arepas are great and we also really loved the arepitas. Parking is almost non-existent but look around the neighborhood and you'll find some.
I haven’t tried the food yet, but there are problems. First is they have 3 parking spots, and the rest of the spots have restrictions for other businesses. This is not workable. Second is they take to go orders through ChowNow, with a 10% service charge. This is also not workable.
First of all how dare you imply that I do not know what it is to experience racism. Obviously you are the owner that I spoke with by your entitled attitude, much like when I spoke with you when there. When I asked you to take my order you proceeded to tell me all that I had done wrong and what I should have done. What made you feel that you could speak to me that way was not from a owner to a paying Customer conversation. It was your inner feelings about who you were speaking with. You should have just taken my order. But fine, I and anyone who will listen won't come. It's hard to believe that this so called Manager would lie when all I asked was to place and order. Instead of just taking my order she decided to chatise me which is equivalent to marginalizing me the Customer.
i have a gluten allergy and it's great to have peace of mind with a dedicated gluten free restaurant. the food was very good.
Great environment place and delicious food to eat! Thanks
Everything is delicious and Gluten Free! As someone with a gluten allergy it is so nice to go to a place that is 100% gluten free! I have tried many things on the menu and they were all amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful too! Can't wait to work my way through their entire menu!
The arepa asada negro was great and my drink, the guarapita de parachita, was amazing. The service was very good. The restaurant is small but they made it work well when I went on a Saturday night.
Incredible food, check this place out!
Hands down the best Venezuelan arepas I’ve had! I got my favorite one, the Pabellón—it had shredded beef, sweet plantains, cheese, and black beans. It was huge, I couldn’t even finish it! I also tried their Papelon con limón, which is sugar cane juice with lemon, and it was super refreshing. The vibe and service were great. Totally recommend this spot!
We love this place! It’s our go-to place whenever we’re in the area!
I've been an Arepa Mia stan since the Sweet Auburn Market days. So good, hits every time and the staff couldn't be sweeter.
One of the best places for an authentic delicious meal in the Atlanta area. We love this gluten-free gem.
BEST PLACE ON EARTH. This review is way overdue we’ve been coming here for a while and the family at Arepa Mia always delivers. Best food. All the food is amazing. Get the Cachapa Pernil you will think about it for months. We love you.
Great place with great food. Everything on the menu is delicious. Definitely go for an arepa which is the specialty.nnThe only downside is parking. It’s definitely a challenge to find.
Delicious Venezuelan food. Very casual. Patio dining is quite pleasant. Good menu and drinks.
Love this place! Wonderful, welcoming, attentive staff who really care about their customers and are passionate about their food. Everything we had was truly amazing. Don't miss out, come here today!
Great food (at least for the ones not too used with the so called American cuisine), multiple options on the menu, friendly staff. Exciting to see authentic Venezuelan food in the area.
Fantastic all around: Food (deliciously fresh); service (prompt & friendly); vibe is great--indoor & outdoor seating (covered patio). Variety of drinks, too, including alcohol if you choose to indulge. You order at the table then choose a seat; I have ordered additional items such as dessert later and staff took the order table side.nnFood items I really enjoy: Arepitas Fritas; Avocado & Heart of Palm Salad.nnParking can be difficult: I park across the street past the Thrift Store lot, it's general free parking (a brief walk).
The food was excellent. There is parking in the back so that was extremely helpful.
Great food and service, just a little pricey
Excellent food that is Gluten Free!! Indoor and outdoor seating.
