Great Arepas and friendly staff! Brisket was perfect. Spicy salsa, terrific!
I’ve ordered 3 empanadas, I did the order online so that can start being made while I drive to the location, and come back to work it’s been about 30 minutes since I ordered and still out here in front of the truck waiting for an order! 3 empanadas. If I knew it was going to take this long I’ve would’ve gone home and make them myself, waaaaay cheaper and faster, they are not even busy, 2 ladies working in there and it’s taking this long? This is ridiculous! Definitely not coming back! And not recommending it!
The service is terrible, they really should be more organized, they didn't know what each customer's order was, almost 1 hour waiting for the order, for me to get an order that wasn't even mine and then they didn't know who the orders were from, I don't recommend it
This was our first time having arepas!! SO GOOD!! Very filling and yummy! Fun atmosphere at the Zócalo FoodnTruck Park
Be careful in this place when you pay with a credit card they will overcharge you
Food was good. The fried plantain really compliments by contrasting the spice kick. I wish the salsa was included in the arepa. If it does I wasn't offered. I think it would have made it perfect. First time ordering so I didn't know what to get.
The service is rubbish, the person who serves is very arrogant and did not take the order as he should, overcharged, bad service, bad taste...
The empanadas were really good, I travel all over the country and it is the first place where they charge you some type of sauce, the food was delicious, no need to tell lies but the prices are really expensive compared to other places, mind you, I don't know how expensive the quality of life is in this city since I'm just passing through. By the way, they're rude, I'm not giving my opinion because I pay, they're abusers, they charge for the sauce and give it in small plates, rude.
Absolutely delicious wheat-free arepas - vegan, vegetarian, or meat, with a variety of sauces. For sides you can get beans or platanos. Inside the popular Third Street Market Hall with skyway to parking ramp.
Incredible. This is the single best hand held food in Milwaukee. So much flavor. Fresh corn shell, delicious meat, vibrant salsas. Can't recommend enough. Definitely go for the feta cheese!
We had the empanadas and they were fantastic! We tried one of each and they were all delicious. The garlic sauce and the avocado sauce were great too. We will definitely be back.
Great place for a quick bite. It takes a bit of time (15 minutes) so you'll wait but that is because it is made fresh. I got the pork arepas with the garlic sauce. Perfect price and a great meal. I will certainly come back!
I have eaten here at least 120 times since first having your food at generic electric pre-Covid.nnI have always had an unforgettable experience at anytime arepa, the definition of salt fat acid heat and am a big fan of the owners.nI always appreciate the simple delicious balance of chew fat heat and salt.nMade with love and extremely uniquennBest meal on a good day up there with Madison’s best empanada cart.nVenzulan food done right for both trucks.nnI wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cart/ business family and friends.nAlthough..nToday I had a cold lifeless arepa with unmelted cheese big hunks of cheesenI would have the cheese to be held see above/ below experiences.nUsually 5 star service food and vibesnToday 1/5.nnA sad travesty to a meal that has me typically has me walking away memorized and wanting another later.nnI couldn’t believe what I was eating compared to usual experience.nnArepa shell was barely warmnStill perfect crunch.nUnappetizing so so (medicore) cold beef/ chicken/ porkk when usually your carne is soo tender and delicious it is easy top five of any food cart I have visited nation wide and I have visited hundreds, with not enough aloli of any of the sandwiches (arepas).nnThe online ordering system was not easy to use and left much to desired.nnWorst experience and I have eaten at least 120 arepas since precovidnnand I drove 2 hours to eat at your cart because it was always been truly unforgettable and had the perfect crunch and been so delicious I have had dreams about it and created a few worthwhile arepas at home. If this is the experience moving forward.. The chicken arepas are just fantastic! Those I've ordered with have also loved the pork. (Have only ordered through doordash so not familiar with the service or atmosphere but I'm sure just as great as the food)
I’ve been eating arepas from Anytime Arepa for 4-5 years now and they’re always delish and top-notch, no matter which location I visit- yum!
I gave it two stars because I’ve been here two or three times the service sucks! The food is great but they need to treat their clients better. I asked for garlic sauce and instead gave me avocado sauce then refused to exchange it. Charged us additional but didn’t give us the right sauce in the 1st place. Also removed Gouda cheese from the menu which is a client favorite.
Scrumptious and mostly gluten free! Can’t ask for more, except that they dive their truck to my home town so I can enjoy it more often!
Very good food and also the service, I recommend them 100%
This place is outstanding. I have tried the Chicken, beef and Pork and they were all great. I wanted to order from Door Dash with some of my co-workers. I have always ordered them spicy. My co-workers do not like spicy food. What is there best option of the 3? Or is it in the sause I get with it that made it spicy, I do not remember?
So so delicious. I’m so happy there are arepas in Milwaukee! I got the beef arepa with black beans, plantain, feta, garlic and avocado sauce.
Love that the food is gluten free, and that they specify that it is. The sauces are amazing as are the arepa sofritos. That being said, they are so salty. Way too salty to the point of taking away from the flavor. The chicken and cheese empanada and the chicken arepa are what I had. Granted, I ordered the arepa plain- but with the cheese I can’t imagine how salty they would be. The dough is amazing, but the filling is so salty. It was difficult for me to finish. But the restaurant being gluten free automatically gives them four stars. Sodium levels are unbearable however.
Amazing food AND juice. Got the chicken arepas. Highly recommend the pink sauce. Love that the food is gluten free so i can eat without a problem! Will be back. I am bummed the juice was not available to order on doordash
At ZOCALO FOOD TRUCK PARK ~~ Was very happy to find the Empanadas were gluten free. Had empanadas with Shredded beef + Plantains + Beans and it hit the spot perfectly. Everything about it from the crispy white corn pastry to the sauces was delicious. Will def be coming back for more.
Delicious! Arepas were better than I expected and I am an arepas lover. Cheese empanadas were so good and the passion fruit juice a must!! Open a location in chicago suburbs please ♥️
the bald man behind the counter was very rude. asked for my number to text me when my order was ready and i never received a text message. went up there 30 minutes later and he yelled at me saying my order was on the counter…. an empty counter. had a horrible attitude and said “bad technology”. he wrote my number down wrong but wanted to yell at me.
Best arepas in town, get the Rumbera!! You will be back again and again!!!
Ate here at 3rd St. Market, great GLUTEN FREE empanadas. Great service!
Good Venezuelan food, I recommend the pabellón empanada and the sauces are very delicious.
I’ve always had a good experience with Anytime Arepa at Zócalo. The arepas are absolutely delicious. I can tell they’re made with quality ingredients & love. They’re a good enough size to make me full but I always debate whether to get a second one just because I love them so much.nnWorth every penny. Highly recommend!
Delicious! Best arepas around!
Very small pieces, too expensive and not so good
One of my favorites. Gluten free arepas and empanadas- though I personally prefer the arepas. I have never been disappointed here and continue to come back and order take out on the regular. So. So. Good.
I visited the 3rd Street location this evening and was really excited to try this place out as I have heard really great things. However, I was very disappointed by the service I experienced. The cashier person —who was obviously a student because she was wearing her school gear— had a very unpleasant attitude. My sister ordered first and wanted to ask if she could swap the beef empanadas for chicken in the mini empanada order but before she could finish her question the cashier rudely interrupted her and said “no you can’t switch” with an obvious rude attitude. Now I understand if you can’t switch which is fine I work in the food service industry and sometimes orders aren’t able to be customized for various factors. However, the way the cashier girl rudely interrupted the question and gave no explanation was very disappointing.nnIt then came for my turn to order and I ordered a chicken arepa. The same girl asked for my phone number and when I gave it to her she apparently did not catch it —which I usually try to make sure when I give my number for whatever reason I make sure I say it clearly— In this case she didn’t catch it but instead of asking nicely what my number was again she simply repeated a number and gave me no indication of where she did not understand and looked at me like I should have read her mind. I then restated my number and gave me a look as if I was crazy or if I was telling her something she had never heard before. I once again restated my number for her and she rolled her eyes and continued to mumble to sign something on the screen. Of course it was for tip and I gladly choose “No Tip”.nnAs I mentioned before I work in the food service industry and manage a restaurant and no matter how bad of a day I’m having I would never give my customers this type of experience. Now the food was decent and I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more but this experience ruined it.nnI know the owners care for their business as I have heard really good things but customer service is a crucial part to ensure your business grows.
These arepas are delicious. The avocado salsa is tasty and always fresh. The beef (shredded) is tender and flavorful. Great gluten free meal option. Friendly staff.
