What an amazing place. We stayed at an air b n b next door and ate here almost every night. The KFC burger is the DIE for. The staff were super friendly, we loved playing on the pool table, and enjoying the events such as open mics and school fundraising talent show.nn10/10 would recommend!
Came here for my birthday. Cocktails are amazing, the burger is to die for. Definitely a must do if you’re in the area (especially the burger omg)
Really great spot! Nice menu and friendly staff. Lots of shade. We had the bahn mi with asian cucumber salad and KFC burger (a tad too saucy for our preference but VERY tasty). Big portion sizes, highly recommend!
It was close for breakfast, need more option on the menú, but the place and the service was 5stars

The food was incredible and the service was timely. We’ve gone back three times for dinner and four times for breakfast in our 2 week visit.

Irene is the best server at The salty koala which is a hidden spot in Nicaragua. The entire menu is incredible. The hibiscus margarita (Margarita de Jamaica) is amazing. The curry’s are amazing and so is the KFC burger and the prices are great for portion size. And the coconut flan… to die for. 10 out of 10 recommended. Food and vibes are outstanding.

Salty Koala is a very cozy place with a pleasant view. The combination of nature, with a rustic and elegant touch, makes it a place you don’t want to leave. And when you taste the food... wow!! That's when you really want to stay... excellent service and an explosion of flavor. Highly recommended.
Nice ambiance, great food, one of the few in the area to get this type of cuisine (done well). Had the green Thai curry and the Korean fried chicken burger the green curry is clean, light and refreshing and yet hearty and comforting, totally unexpected rendition and very pleased with it. We’ve eaten there a bunch of times and had other plates that were all good but those were the standouts. My kids (who are very selective eaters) like just about everything we’ve tried there too.nnservice on point, overall a great dining experience. Try a calala margarita too! So good. Thanks salty koala team!

We love The Salty Koala! We ate there at least four times on our recent visit to Hacienda Iguana! I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich, the KFC Sandwich and the hibiscus margarita! You will not be disappointed! ❤️

By far…. The best drinks and food we had all vacation. So good we went multiple times each day !! Margaritas, fresh juices, homemade triple sec…. And order the dumplings !!!! Wow. Also, you’ll feel so welcomen-Lindsey Delgado
