This is the worst Indian food I had ever tried, may be Peruvian chef cooking Indian food here.
Good indian good in cusco
Girl with red hair and glasses ignored us repeatedly when we tried to order food. We were sat here for 20 mins and she did not come to get our order so we just left
There are no months... Because they are not in a group.. I walked half a kilo to eat here again
Very solid curry, and was kind enough to ask how ‘hot’ I’d like it. The naan bread was the star of the show! The drinks were slightly small and overpriced but the rice and naan were included with the curry (some places charge for all of them each)
Terrible food, service and ambiance. I’m not sure how they have 4 star ratings.
The food is good but the service is extremely slow
Finding Indian food in Cusco felt pleasently surprising. The location was great, and so was the setting, but the service was poor. The people serving there were confused and overwhelmed, couldn't remember our order, and to make it worse, it took more than an hour to get our food. Food portions were OK, and the taste wasn't bad either.nnI would have left with a better experience had they managed to serve food sooner. Will suggest others to go if they have enough time to wait.
Had onion bhaji, palak paneer and mango lassi and it was bloody lovely
the butter chicken was absolutely delicious, I definitively recommend to anyone craving reasonably priced flavourful meal in Cusco!
Many vegetarian and vegan options. The onion pakoras were really good but both of our curries had absolutely no flavour, super disappointing!
We try chicken korma we didnt fill any casio nuts . The past felt like without any indian taste.nAlso the pannir tika massala didnt tast indian .nWe love Indian food but compering to Indian resturant in London or Amsterdam or Berlin this dishes need to improve.nThe portions were goodnPrice was fair.nBoth dishes 40 sol inc rice and plain nan
We didn’t dine in but opted for takeaway as we were really tired and wanted to enjoy our meal back at our place. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.nnThe first letdown came as soon as we opened the parcel — the food quantity was shockingly small for the price we paid. Secondly, the dishes lacked authentic Indian flavor; they tasted bland and far from what you'd expect from traditional Indian cuisine.nnThe naan was dry and rubbery, not fresh at all. Most of the items were either overcooked, under-seasoned, or simply didn’t taste right. We ended up throwing away a large portion of the food, which is something we really hate doing. We ate only what was bearable just to fill our stomachs.nnFor anyone looking for real Indian food, this place might not live up to your expectations. We truly hope they take this feedback seriously and improve both the taste and portion size of their offerings.
Excellent food, quality and quantity
We were craving Indian food and found the best place in Cusco. The food was authentic and delicious, especially the fresh, warm, light, and flaky naan.
Food was absolutely great- smelt from the road outside and knew we had to try it. Was desperate for some flavour and spice after a while of travelling South America. The food was delicious and did not disappoint. Hit every spot. recommend the chicken tikka masala and mutton masala. If vegetarian the paneer masala is also great.
Loved it. The service was amazing.
Had a very tasty vegan curry, highly recommended!
Excellent Indian food for a change from the Peruvian diet! Simple and effective menu, quick service and good quality flavours. This dish with drink cost me £11. Chicken tikka Masala
Delicious Indian dishes - felt at home ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing indian food! Big portions, so very worth the price. Would definitely recommend!
For the first time I went, the food was very good.
Great service the food was very authentic, I would definitely recommend it to all people who want to try Indian cuisine in Cusco
I bought souvenirs and the atmosphere is very touristy.
A solid traditional, Indian restaurant in Cusco.nnIf you were looking for typical Indian food while visiting Cusco, this is the place. Friendly service and tasty food. I particularly liked the chai tea. And the naan bread is fresh, warm, light and flaky. Absolutely delicious.nnThe only thing to keep in mind, is it is a family restaurant. So they have a small boy who runs around singing and playing in the dining room. For me it just added to the experience. But I can imagine for some it could be a bit distracting from their meal.
I ordered Chick Peas, too much onion gravy and not cooked enough either. A few hours later, raw onions are the only thing I can taste. Below average.nMy wife ordered Butter Chicken which she had to send back as it was inedible.nNaans were very well done, thin and crispy, and great view!
Supposed to be open at 12.30 ...nWaited until 1.30, still kitchen was not open .... wasted 1 hr. They could have told us
Horrible to say the least!! We walked out, so can rate the food. Service was deplorable, atmosphere similar to a restaurant which is about to close down (in fact, it may soon), waiter was not even able to explain. A SURE MISS folks!!!!
By far the worst experience! Horrible customer service, we simply left the place without eating (so can't rate the food), but ended up at a nearby Peruvian restaurant where the food was awesome, great customer service and attention to detail. We strongly advise to think twice before choosing to go to Taste of India. There are better options available all over Cusco!!
Great food, sizeable portions! If you don't eat large meals one is enough to share.
Food at this place is not for people who understand Indian food. There are better options in Cusco.
The food is very delicious and we were served very well.
We tried every Indian food in Cusco that we could find. Here was both the best value and food.
