The quinoa salad, pasta, and chicken were all very good. Nice atmosphere.
WHAT TO EXPECT? Italian restaurant 5 mins walk from Leon main square with mixture of outdoor and indoor air-conditioned seating.nnPAY / PRICE / COST- Cash only, can pay USD or Cordoba (36.5 conversion). Main meals approx 340-450. Drinks 100-250. We had a starter, beer, cocktail and 2 pasta mains for 40USD total. Tip optional, not automatically added.nnPOSITIVES- Smart setting, nice ambience. Extensive menu offering meat, fish, pasta and pizza dishes. Good selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Friendly attentive staff.nnNEGATIVES- The food service was almost too quick it felt we were rushing between finishing starters and being presented with mains. Our Swiss cheese chicken pasta and gongonzola gnocchi dishes were more like soup with our pasta drowning in under seasoned cheese sauces. Needed better ratio of pasta to sauce and more flavour.nnOVERALL- setting, menu and staff were nice. Food was a little disappointing but fine.
Sit along the inner courtyard where the light is softer and you can feel the breeze. The tzatziki, hummus, and htipiti with garlic herb flatbread (not pita but v good) is terrific!
Delicious food and attractive ambience. Unfortunately the service is inadequate.
While visiting León we went for dinner and we loved it.nThe place is cozy in a patio with galleries and a very beautiful garden.nThe food was very delicious and well presented and the staff was very friendly.nThe price-quality ratio is very good, you have to pay cash.
Good food, adequate price.nthey welcome small requests for variations in dishes due to intolerance needs.nExcellent service
How can there be a store that only accepts cash today? It's a shame.
Definitely our favorite place in Leon. Everything is right here!
The place is 10/10 cozy, the food is delicious and worth it.
One of my favorite Restaurants in Nica! Very delicious & fresh food, excellent service and beautiful Atmosphere. Super delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Highly recommend the Mediterranean Salad with Camerones!!
Wanted to make a post as we nearly didnt go do to reviews but realised very rarely do people review when good. The food is lovely! Pizza thin, but tasty, maybe different to how people are used to it but it was lovely base and huge! The meatballs weren't in a tomato sauce but so delicious and the croquettes were yummy also. Lovely vibe not busy but inside outside dining. First time away we had decent sangria it was sooo good. Thanks for a lovely meal
The pasta is very similar to the Italian one, good meat and also fish, maybe the pizza is its weak point
Very nice little restaurant where you can eat! It's not cheap for Nicaragua but it's a nice experience
Delicious! The gnocchi in a creamy gorgonzola cheese sauce are spectacular, not at all heavy. And it's so good that we had another one the next day, with a mixed pizza of prosciutto and arugula, and mushrooms with gorgonzola cheese. You won't regret it...
Excellent place. Very good food. Congratulations
Very tasty food in the beautiful and neglected city of León.
Very good place to dine, good music, good atmosphere, good service, the food is very good value for money.
Some dishes take 40 minutes to prepare, don't expect a fabulous Mediterranean dinner experience, but is nice to have a different food experience in this city, every other food stablishment seems to serve the same thing.
One of my two favorite places to eat.nThe pastas, pizza, and red wine sangrias are delicious. We love the Margherita Pizza here, the feta and gorgonzola pizza, the seafood pasta, the shrimp croquettes, and the chocolate brownie!nThe atmosphere is simple, pretty, and clean; for me, the best spot is the hallway facing the garden.nBut the best part is the staff, from the chefs to the guy who makes the cocktails and smoothies!nLilly is a sweetheart, always available, super friendly, and makes very timely suggestions. We love you, Lilly, thank you for being so special to us!nEvery time I take someone here or recommend it, it goes very well, and they become fans of SUA.nDefinitely a must-stop in León.
20241224nOrdered Mediterranean salad + 5 fried shrimps (with red wine sauce), the shrimps were delicious but a bit expensive at C$180, the salad was tomato slices + green olives + feta cheese, quite refreshing (with vinegar sauce), but I thought there would be green vegetables, the drink was watermelon juice, more like watermelon water, maybe you should order double strength, but it was only C$70 and it was 100% juice..nThe accompanying green sauce bread is delicious! !nn2022nGarlic shrimp is quite salty and is OK with breadnI don't think it's necessary to order paella. There should be better choices.nThe atmosphere in the store is relaxing and cozy
Ordered the marisco marinana, quite disappointing. Not enough sauce, top half of the dish was basically bare. Not very flavorful, had about 3 pieces of shrimp and calamari. Price completely unjustified. Although my friends ordered the pesto chicken pasta and they enjoyed that. So seems like a hit or miss depending on what you order.
Good food but the pizza had almost no toppings, and the shrimps didn’t come with any other accompaniments. The Sandia drink was really amazing. Also they only accept cash, no cards
First, we sat on a table full of cockroaches. Believe me when I tell you that I tried to ignore the first one but then little ones came crawling out of the table.nnThen, asked the server for a cleaner table and despite noticing our obvious distress we were moved to the nearest table. The cockroach’s table was left as it was, and no further cleaning was performed.nnSecond, we asked for two “pizza margaritas” and the dough was raw. I am not Italian nor a master chef but I know when something is uncooked.nnSomething to have in mind as well is that the “pizza margarita” comes with normal tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes.nnFinally, my friend made a review earlier than me and a woman came in with a weird, kindda angry, and hostile attitude asking if there was something wrong with the food. It almost felt like we were the ones apologizing. She mentioned that they made a proper sanitation two weeks ago but we know what we saw.nnFinal update: a nice guy came over and apologized properly and did not charge us as we barely touched the food.
There were no ingredients for what they offer on the menu, I ordered several pizzas and there were no ingredients. In the end I ordered a margarita that is served with cherry tomatoes and they came with large slices of tomato, the pizza dough was raw, the table where we sat was full of cockroaches. I also changed the drink option because there weren't any. Very bad experience
Super nice and cosy place for lunch or dinner. good cocktailsnThe food was pretty good yet a little pricey.
All 10/10, I would just recommend that if you have to give directions, don't shout from one side to the other, get closer and you will avoid that uncomfortable shouting.
Always an excellent visit. The music, the attention and of course the food is the best.
