Amazing roof top bar with great cocktails and local bites. It is a little bit hard to find, but definately worth the visit. Plays regularly live music as well!
Good service and food. gloomy building
It is no longer the same place as a couple of years ago, high prices, low traffic
Persevere up the unusual entrance... Worth the walk up through the building.
Rooftopbar with a nice atmosphere and good food.
The food is excellent and the atmosphere is one of the best in the historic center. It's a nice trip to go up and walk through the building. It's worth it!
The entrance to the restaurant is by the side of Morazan Plaza. It's on the top floor of a building that for the most part will feel abandoned. But don't let this discourage you. The views are spectacular, the ambiance feels great and the food is top quality and comparatively inexpensive. We had a few glasses of wine, the meat platter and enjoyed a superb San Salvadorian sunset!
Super recommended, the truth is, an unmatched experience, a quality atmosphere, the best views of the historic center at a very affordable price for both locals and tourists, the best way to get out of the routine or stress of everyday life in the center of San Salvador, the best service.
The place is a little hidden, we put the GPS on but some people who were in the area guided us better since the sign is a little small, it is a terrace in a building that is a little abandoned on some levels, you have to walk a little, but at the same time Arriving the view is beautiful, especially at night, the atmosphere was very good, there was live music when we arrived, the attention was immediate, the food was not that delicious, we ordered some pizzas but I didn't like the cheese very much and it had few ingredients (peperoni or seafood), beers very cold yes
this very unusual restaurant is a natural and folkloric gem at the Centro Histórico zone, in the heart of the San Salvador where you can take a break of your stressfull days or tourist packages, and find an oasis after a long trip, and enjoy a magical salvadoran culinary experience. First, the restaurant is hard to find, and the entrance is not signed. Clients have to go through another restaurant in the first floor and find the door to an extense a steep and very uphill corridor that take you to this hidden restaurant. For disabled and/or incapacitated people it is a real challenge (1 star). At the entrance of the restaurant you'll received with an entrance fee ranging from 1 to 3 dollars. Really? a fee entrance? (1 star). The restaurant has a beautiful and unforgettable views that will produce beautiful pictures and memories. The restaurant uses the freshest seafood, chicken and meats on an individual small scale hard to share (1 star), mixing it with a delicious blend of butter, garlic, parsley, and secret seasonings sauces; just imagine the best meat, seafood chicken combinations to smother your plates with a variety of succulents complements from fresh shrimp, meat, chicken to vegetarian options on top of all their multiple complements modalities. This beautiful traditional but exotic restaurant has a metropolitan feeling perfect for globetrotter, hodophile and bohemians clients. As soon you sit out in the terrace you can feel that the atmosphere take your mind straight to a relaxing place. The restauranthas beautiful paintings with very cute designs on the walls, and a very colorful ceiling. However, all that illusion bubble burst due to the culinary experience, as the different but small chicken, seafood and/or meats platters among the other appetizers plates could NOT be easily combined, as they comes in personal sizes; looks like plates portions are individualized therefore are not enough to share among 2 or more clients. Also they offer a very good variety of delicious traditional pupusas. Being fair all plates cames in a very good presentation with a 5 out 5 stars excellent presentation. They have a very good variety of drinks and beers (5 stars). In just few words, the food was excellent, very nice flavors but there is plenty of work to improve on the portions sizes. Clients can enjoy a truly meats, chicken and seafood flavors. Great service, very kind waitress (5 stars) with relaxed atmosphere, including the bar area where you would enjoy the most cool and finest beers, drinks also great variety of wines. If you are in the Centro Histórico area or you are in San Salvador or just passing by through the Metro area, you should try this small but unforgettable restaurant; despite 1 star less due to inconvenient accessibility, the scamming entrance fee, and small portion plates it is definitely very HIGH RECOMMENDED...you won’t regret it!
Food was terrible. El Salvadorian burger is just a regular burger with cucumber on it. The burger meat was cheap and tasted awful. You would think the meat would be good. Not at all
Excellent place.nGreat atmosphere.nGood prices.nExcellent views of downtown.
Excellent service! I had a great time! A hidden gem!
A great place for a beer and to enjoy the views. Quick friendly service, ice cold beers. I sooooo wanted to give it 5 stars, but the walk up was fine, just keep going and you'll get there....it has an abandoned building feel and no lighting. If we had known we would have timed a visit better. Walking back down was the only time in San Salvador I felt uneasy.
I am a fan of this place until yesterday when they charged me twice for what I consumed... We paid a bill and I ordered again and they charged me for two more drinks that I had already paid. I wanted to tell the cashier and another waiter, the cashier treated me badly and the other waiter told me that if I wanted to put a bad review I would put it in.... So yes I did put it in... Definitely you go wherever you want with your money but you don't go back to where they scam you... So keep going like this that the clientele knows where they are treated well ...and where the employees are trash, I'm talking about the cashier.
Good dishes. Unfortunately it is no longer the same atmosphere as before.
Well yes, it's nice. Intermediate prices. Clean.
The place is super good, the views spectacular.nVery friendly staff.nI didn't give it five stars because there is no elevator and you have to go up to the fifth or sixth floor, fortunately there are no stairs.nIt is a ramp and it is less tiring to go up.nThe prices are very affordable and the food is good.nThere is live music starting at 8.00 pmnHighly recommended, spectacular photos are taken.n
Excellent place, recommended one thousand percent.
Yummy food, great service, good views and reasonable prices.
A good place to enjoy quiet and with a good view of the historic center of the capital
AN INCREDIBLE experience!!! We’re so lucky we found this hidden gem.nIt’s difficult to find. Kind of sketchy entrance with no sign… just keep walking up these wheelchair-like paths up to the 4th floor. The best view to sit and people watch from above or to view the Cathedral.nThank you to this restaurant for an amazing night!!
The food is good but the only reason I frequented that place was that the beers are served very cold and I even dared to bring a lot of friends and we consumed a lot and well there is never a lack of hair in the soup, the music seems like it's going to blow your mind eardrums so much so that you can't hear what your friends are talking about. And it seems like management doesn't care; Well, I have never frequented that place again nor would I do so again. I'll take my money to another restaurant where I won't risk my hearing...
Excellent place in the heart of the Historic Center of San Salvador
Mojitos seemed to contain hardly any alcohol. Baileys were very small and warm for a relatively high price. The pizza was small and did not taste good. A lot of cheese and lo flavour.
