The Isla Bonita restaurant is a real insider tip! The service is incredibly friendly - you immediately feel welcome. It is a lovingly run family business where you can taste the passion for cooking in every dish. Everything was super tasty and prepared with a lot of love. Kind and friendly family restaurant in Balgue on Ometepe. We stopped here as a family for dinner and all had NY steaks. Everything was flavourful and well prepared. Would return again if we ever come back to the island. Service, prices, and how everything tasted homemade and prepared with love were big highlights. Gracias!

This is some of the tastiest and most flavorful food we have tried on Ometepe. Everything was cooked to perfection, and came quickly. The covered dining area has plenty of plants and offers a shady place to get out of the hot sun while eating. We will be back!

My absolute favourite restaurant in Balgue. The food is fresh and service is fast. I ate there for two nights in the row and the fish fillet with chimichuri sauce was delicious! Very good prices and would definitely recommend!

Went there for breakfast, food was tasty but portions were very small considering the price and there was a mandatory tip added in the receipt. The coffee was just okay. wouldn’t go there for breakfast.

We had dinner here on our last night and wish we had found it sooner, delicious and such a lovely family. We tried the Milanese chicken and the pork - both were amazing. The extra sauces that came were so tasty too and it’s such a nice vibe would highly recommend.

Excellent, delicious, que ricoooooo! Magical hands cook the most succulent ‘home cooked’ foods. The spaghetti con camarones es genial, the fish is cooked to perfect marinade. 2 meals in the 2 days we stayed here. Gracias a todos, y gracias Harold! Please keep it up :))
